Things to keep in mind:

Always use a car seat : backward-facing in the back seat until your baby is at least 12 months old and weighs 20 pounds.
Do not put your baby to bed with a bottle or prop it in his mouth.
Establish a bedtime routine and put your baby to bed while she is still awake.
Consider starting solid foods like cereal, then strained fruits and vegetables.
Introduce only one new food at a time and wait a few days between new foods.
Talk and sing with your baby.

Schedule an appointment for your baby's next visit, usually at 6 months of age.
