There are many ways to navigate through the Aetna InteliHealth site. The most common ways are explained below.
Underlined Words or Icons
On each page, you will see words that are underlined. If you click on the underlined words, you will be taken to the page that contains the information you selected. In some cases, you can click on images or icons instaed of underlined text.
Top Navigation Bar
On all pages of Aetna InteliHealth, you can go directly to our featured health areas, which are grouped by the following four categories: Diseases And Conditions, Healthy Lifestyle, Your Health, and Look It Up.
Left Navigation Bar
On the left side of every page is a list of popular areas of Aetna InteliHealth, including links to Home, Ask The Expert, News, Interactive Tools, Drug Resource Center, and Dental Health.
Home Page
The Aetna InteliHealth home page is updated daily and contains links to breaking health-news stories, commentaries on the news from members of the faculty of Harvard Medical School, and feature articles.
Footer
The footer appears on the bottom of every page of the site. It enables you to go directly to sections of the site where you can find information about Aetna InteliHealth, E-mail newsletter registration, changes to your profile, how to contact us, and accreditation information.
Header or Banner Bars
A header or banner appears on almost every page of the Aetna InteliHealth site and tells you which section you are visiting (such as "Allergy" or "Health News.") Clicking on the banner will bring you to the main page of that section.
Search InteliHealth
You can search the entire site by using the search field in the top navigation bar. For more about searching, see below.
| Prostate Cancer | Broadest. Returns documents with the words "Prostate" and/or "Cancer." |
| Prostate and Cancer | Narrower. Returns documents with both of the words "Prostate" and "Cancer." |
| "Prostate Cancer" | Narrowest. Returns documents with the words "Prostate Cancer" right next to each other. |
Search words are not case-sensitive. Lower- and upper-case letters will return the same results.
Aetna InteliHealth also allows you to use Boolean search logic to refine your search.
Aetna InteliHealth's search system enables you to search content anywhere on our site. A search field is available in the upper right section of every page. Simply enter your search word(s) in the text entry box and click the "search" button to the right.
You can narrow your search to include only results in "News" and/or "Ask The Expert".
