“B” good

We all need B vitamins. Vitamin B is a complex of at least eight separate water-soluble vitamins including thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and folic acid. The Merck and Company Labs in New Jersey announced a method to manufacture biotin, a member of the Vitamin B complex, on May 14, 1943. Biotin is necessary for carbohydrate and fat metabolism. A balanced diet will usually provide enough biotin. Foods that have higher amounts of biotin include nuts, yeast, cereals, green leafy vegetables and milk.
