Is exercise a good treatment for depression?
.
What would cause the bottoms of my feet to "burn" at night when I go to bed?
.
Can stress make you literally dizzy? I have found that when I am particularly anxious or angry, I get dizzy and lightheaded. Should this be a cause for concern? I am prone to anxiety attacks as well.
.
My 71-year-old father began taking Coumadin after a pulmonary embolism a few years ago. Not too long after, he began having more confusion. After going to many more doctors and getting more medicine for dementia and depression — that also cause confusion — there is no definite diagnosis. In fact, he’s getting worse. Is it possible that the Coumadin is causing this?
.
I have been suffering from a skin rash for about 10 years. A large patch of my skin constantly itches, and the skin is thick and feels like leather. I have gone through almost every ointment on the market, and none works. I went to a new doctor and he said that my rash was neurodermatitis and recommended an antidepressant. I was surprised. Have you ever heard of using a mood-altering medication to treat a skin rash?
.
Is there a difference between the prescription Zoloft and the generic version? I started taking Zoloft 8 years ago, but switched to the generic version over a year ago because it’s free with my prescription coverage. I think I’ve gained weight since the switch. Is it possible that the generic version causes me to gain weight when Zoloft didn’t?
.
I am 57 years old. My maternal grandmother and mother both had Alzheimer’s disease. There have been some times when I feel like I’m waking up from a fog or mental sleep. I sometimes feel disoriented, or just plain scared (especially when I’m driving). Should I be worried?
.
My wife is emotionally unstable. I (and many others) believe she could have bipolar disorder. She’s defensive, and hard to confront. It’s starting to affect my health. Any advice to help us?
.
I’m pretty stressed. Any helpful tips?
.
I have no problem getting to sleep. But my problem is staying asleep through the night. Any suggestions?
