I suspect you were told this after you had a colonoscopy. A “curved colon” is not a medical term. Most likely the doctor performing the procedure had a somewhat difficult time moving the scope through the colon. After the test, he or she probably explained it to you using this term.

Some people have more twists and turns in their colons. This does not mean there is anything wrong with your colon. And having a “curved colon” does not put you at higher risk of polyps, cancer or other colon problems in the future.
