Answered questions from the past 2 years:
.
Does exercise help you keep your memory?
.
I have iron deficiency anemia, and have had colonoscopy and an upper GI endoscopy. The results of both were normal. I have plenty of iron in my diet. I don't have heavy menstrual periods (in fact, they're very light). Could my anemia be caused by donating blood? I usually give blood every eight weeks.
.
I do computer work, so most of my day is spent sitting. Over the past few months, I have been noticing a small bump just around my anus. There’s no pain or itching. And it’s not inside the anal area. It seems to get filled with blood when I put more pressure while using the toilet. It’s almost like swollen skin — very soft, without any hardness. What could this be? Are there any home remedies?
.
For the past few months, I’ve had bloating and bowel movement changes such as constipation, diarrhea, slim stools, mucus-type stools, and bowel movements that I’d consider violent and explosive. I went to an urgent care center, where I was told I was impacted — with advice to buy stool softeners. The pain lasted 3-5 more days. I have had no weight loss, but I am tired a lot. Any suggestions?
.
I had a spinal tap. The doctor said the tests on the fluid were all normal. But the printed report suggested a low protein level. Is this a problem?
.
I have a severe snoring problem. I also am getting frequent headaches. Could my headaches be sleep apnea-related?
.
When your TSH count is 0.13, is this hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism?
.
What would cause a male in his mid-50s to feel soreness in both breasts? There is no apparent hardness or lumps.
.
I read that oral-to-vaginal contact may cause a change in normal vaginal discharge. Is this a yeast infection? Can it be treated with Monostat?
.
I am 70-year-old woman, and for the last 2-3 years my fingernails have begun to split in a lateral manner. I take calcium, so I’m wondering what is causing this.
