Ive been active in sports my entire life. I had debridement surgery on my right ankle one year ago. Its still painful. Have there been any medical advances to either replace the cartilage (synthetic or real) or re-grow cartilage?
For around 12 years, Ive suffered from sunset to sunrise from severe cramping and uncontrollable leg jerks that responded to no known medical treatment. Is this restless leg syndrome? Whats the best treatment?
I had a CT scan for abdominal pain. I was told I have a fairly large cyst on my right kidney. The CT scan was otherwise normal. The doctor wasnt sure what caused the pain. The pain is gone. Does a kidney cyst cause pain that comes and goes?
I had severe pain last night and went to the ER. I had an ultrasound test. It showed my gallbladder was slightly distended (no stones) and the common bile duct was enlarged. My white blood cell count was 11,000. But my other blood tests were normal. Could this explain my severe pain?
Over the past 3 weeks, Ive developed pain in my ankles, Achilles tendon, knee and elbows. The pain is minor to severe, and it feels like the pain moves from joint to joint. I havent changed my routine or had any injuries. So what could cause this?
Ive had sciatica for a couple of weeks now. Id like to exercise, but I dont seem to get any better or worse whether I do or dont. The pain is worse at night and first thing in the morning. Ive had X-rays, but they dont show anything. Can I exercise 4 days a week to keep on my fitness schedule? My back doesnt hurt at all its just the sciatica.
