None: The flu is absent or was not reported. Low (sporadic): Influenza infections noted but none affecting schools, nursing homes, or other institutional settings. Medium (regional): Outbreaks in areas of state holding less than 50% of population. High (Widespread): Outbreaks in areas with more than 50% of population.
